NATO Hackathon

Our students take part of the first NATO Hackathon

Students from ten top universities in Allied countries are taking part in NATO’s first policy hackathon in partnership with LEAD Mindsets & Capabilities.

The university team "Emperor's Finest", consisting of ten master's students of International Relations and Security Studies from Institute of Political Studies, represents Charles University's Faculty of Social Sciences in a four-day hackathon and competes with students from Harvard, SciencePo and King's College London, among others. The theme of the team's presenation is "How can NATO continue to keep their technological edge in terms of private sector and academia partnerships in pursuit of technological advancement and innovation?"

The aim is to propose the best solution to NATO's current challenges on Thursday 4 February from 4 pm, directly in front of NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg. You can support our university team and watch the whole event online!

This is part of NATO’s outreach to young people to contribute to the Secretary General’s initiative “NATO 2030” to keep the Alliance ready to face tomorrow’s challenges.

Good luck guys!
