Jinonice Complex Reconstruction

Finishing Jinonice Project: Temporary removal of greenery and replanting important trees to new locations.

As part of the construction of the new Jinonice complex, construction works are being done around the complex. In the next days, preparatory work will be carried out on the construction of a new transport connection to the premises and on the relocation of water and gas pipelines. These steps will also require the removal of existing greenery on the slope under the attachment and at the site of the new transport connection in accordance with the approved landscaping project. Upon completion of this work, the greenery will be restored as part of a field project prepared by the Faculty for this purpose and approved by the Department of the Environment in Prague 5.

Three important trees associated with Charles University teachers will also be planted. Trees honoring Professor Miloslav Petrusek from the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University, the accompanying professor Zdeněk Pince and the ashes of Dr. Ivan Rynda, both from FHS UK. FHS UK teacher's trees will go to a new location in Prague's Troja, Professor Petruska's plane tree will take place on a circular square in front of the current main entrance to Jinonice buildings.
