International competition for young scientists Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic 2025
On September 15, 2025, the 10th year of the Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic international competition will take place in the premises of the National Technical Library. The aim of the competition is to bring together the future generation of great scientists and innovators and come up with a breathtaking idea - a scientific project, business plan or social initiative that break down all walls and barriers.
The contestants' presentation takes place in the English language in the so-called "pitch-talk" format, which is a maximum of three minutes long. It doesn't matter whether the subject is computer technology or medicine, economics or mechanical engineering, philosophy, robotics, chemistry, art or agriculture - the competition is open to anyone who is convinced of their idea and can convince others of it. Students of all degrees are welcome, even Ph.D. and postdoc.

The Czech final of the international project Falling Walls will take place on September 15, 2025 from 5:00 PM at the National Technical Library in Prague and the deadline for applications is June 30, 2025.
The winner of the national round will represent the Czech Republic at the global final in Berlin, which is regularly organized on the anniversary eve of the Berlin Wall's fall. This will take place this year on November 7-9, 2025.
