  • Lecture - Beyond Extremes: Climate and Mental Health in Central Europe

    The Wellbeing Working Group at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, invites you to a lecture and discussion with Dr. Weronika Kałwak on the impact of climate change on mental health and well-being in Central Europe. The lecture takes place on 26 November 2025, 17:00, in room B103a, Jinonice Campus.
  • Woman, Life, Freedom: New exhibition in the Jinonice Campus + debate

    In Foyer C and the adjacent corridor of the Jinonice Campus, you can see a new exhibition Woman, Life, Freedom, presented by the SIMS student society and the Institute of International Studies FSV UK. The exhibition will be on display until the end of 2025. On 11 November, a debate will take place in room B103B of the Jinonice Campus.

    Are you interested in social sciences? Do you want to find out about study programs in English at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University? Come and experience FSV UK on 5 December 2025 in the Jinonice Campus.
  • Mentoring programme and workshops for early-career researchers

    Charles University is pleased to announce the launch of the second cycle of its Mentoring Programme and invites early-career researchers (such as assistant professors and postdocs) to participate as mentees. There are also free spots in events for early-career researchers.
  • Roundtable and Climathon at FSV UK

    The Faculty Sustainability Working Group cordially invites students and staff to two events focused on sustainability (not only) at FSV UK. The Roundtable: FSV UK in the green mirror will take place on November 19, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Hollar building, room H212. The roundtable discussion will be followed by the Climathon at FSV UK event in room H212 from 6:30 pm.
  • Opportunity to participate in a 4EU+ project focused on climate change

    4EU+ offers PhD students and advanced Master's students the opportunity to participate in the Collegio Futuro project, which focuses on climate change, biodiversity loss and environmental pollution. As part of the project, students will participate in several online workshops in January 2026 and then a winter school in Heidelberg in February 2026. Applications are open until November 17, 2025.
