Results of student ombudspeople elections for 2025/2026
We know the results of the elections of student ombudspeople for the period 2025/2026. The elections took place at IMS FSV UK, where Adéla Smržová was elected ombudsperson. At the other institutes, only one candidate was registered, so the elections did not take place and the candidate was elected automatically. -
The first phase of the Hollar building renovation and modernization is complete. We are opening the new Hollar Student Zone
After extensive reconstruction and modernization of the former library at Hollar, the Hollar Student Zone is now open to students, offering expanded facilities for study and relaxation. We cordially invite you to its opening, which will take place on Wednesday, 5 March 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the presence of the FSV UK Dean, Tomáš Karásek, and the Director of the Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism, Jakub Končelík. -
Students ombudspeople elections 2025
The elections of Student Ombudspeople for the period 2025/2026 will take place from 9:00 on February 25, 2025 to 3:00 pm on February 26, 2025, via online application. The elections will take place only at Institute of International Studies FSV UK as there was always only one candidate at the other institutes. Therefore, these candidates have been automatically elected as the new ombudspersons. -
International Day of Women and Girls in Science: How does FSV UK support its female scientists in their career development?
On February 11, we celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the aim of which is to remind us of their essential role in the scientific environment and to support their involvement in research. On this occasion, we introduce three participants of the faculty mentoring programme, which is intended to help female researchers with career development and with the reconciliation of both personal and professional life. -
