Dr. Suchibrata Roy, Ph.D., is an accomplished scholar and seasoned professional with a diverse background in academia and corporate leadership. Her academic journey culminated in the attainment of a Ph.D. in International Relations, with a seminal thesis titled "Backpacking Diplomacy: A Case Study of Israeli Backpackers in India," showcasing her expertise in the intricate dynamics of global interactions and people to people diplomacy. She was a Scholar-in-Residence on Critical Antisemitism Studies at The Oxford Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy, St. John's College, Oxford University, UK, in both 2018 and 2020. As a testament to her academic prowess, Dr. Roy was honored as a recipient of the prestigious Sandwich Doctoral Fellowship by the Israel Council for Higher Education, conducting her research at Bar-Ilan University, Israel. Since 2020, Dr. Roy is associated with the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP), as a research fellow. Her areas of interest span Strategic Communication, Inter-cultural Communication, International Relations, Public Diplomacy, and Israel & Middle East Studies, reflecting her diverse expertise. In addition to her academic achievements, Dr. Roy boasts over two decades of strategic leadership experience across multinational corporations and international universities.
