Migration of Microsoft 365 accounts to the university tenant
Between June and August 2025, all Microsoft 365 accounts will be transferred from the faculty environment fsv.cuni.cz to the university tenant cuni.cz, which is managed by the Charles University Rectorate. Statement by the Dean of FSV UK on the Sentencing of PhD Student Bahruz Samadov
We are following with deep concern the developments in the case of Bahruz Samadov, a PhD student at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, who, according to available information, was sentenced to 15 years in prison in Baku, Azerbaijan, on June 20, 2025, for alleged treason. We are convinced that the charges are politically motivated, and therefore we strongly condemn the sentence. -
Charles University successfully defends prestigious HR Award
Charles University has – as the first university in the Czech Republic – successfully defended the prestigious HR Excellence in Research Award (HR Award), granted by the European Commission. -
Zuzana Havránková and Dino Numerato were appointed professors
On June 16, 2025, the following new professors were appointed at FSV UK: Prof. PhDr. Zuzana Havránková, Ph.D. (IES FSV UK) in the field of Economic Theory and Prof. PhDr. Dino Numerato, Ph.D. (ISS FSV UK) in the field of Sociology. They received the appointment decrees from President Petr Pavel and Mikuláš Bek, Minister of Education. -
