The inter-university program prg.ai Minor
The inter-university program prg.ai Minor is designed for students of full-time bachelor's and master's studies at Czech Technical University and Charles University who are interested in artificial intelligence and machine learning. prg.ai Minor combines the best of the courses from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Information Technology of CTU, and the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics and the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University. Applications are open until March 21, 2025. -
The Czech Science Foundation (GA ČR) announces calls for project proposals
The Czech Science Foundation (GA ČR) announces calls for project proposals for standard projects, Junior Star projects, Postdoc individual fellowships, return grants, international bilateral projects, and LEAD mode projects. Project proposals for projects to be launched in 2026 may be submitted to the FSV UK Research Office until March 21, 2025. -
Students ombudspeople elections 2025
The elections of Student Ombudspeople for the period 2025/2026 will take place from 9:00 on February 25, 2025 to 3:00 pm on February 26, 2025, via online application. The elections will take place only at Institute of International Studies FSV UK as there was always only one candidate at the other institutes. Therefore, these candidates have been automatically elected as the new ombudspersons. -
International Day of Women and Girls in Science: How does FSV UK support its female scientists in their career development?
On February 11, we celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the aim of which is to remind us of their essential role in the scientific environment and to support their involvement in research. On this occasion, we introduce three participants of the faculty mentoring programme, which is intended to help female researchers with career development and with the reconciliation of both personal and professional life. -
Call for Special Issues: Journal of Nationalism, Memory & Language Politics
Those interested in proposing a special issue for 2025 or 2026 should submit a one-page proposal by May 30, 2025. Priority is given to issues pertaining to the 20th and 21st century political developments. -
