  • AI technology in academic work at FSV UK

    AI can significantly contribute to the quality of teaching and the further development of academic work. However, there is also a need to clearly communicate the principles and limitations that arise from the use of AI technology for academic work. All related issues and potential risks – legislative, ethical, security and other – need to be carefully considered.

  • Kuciak: The Killing of a Journalist (movie with English subtitles)

    On April 11, from 7:00 p.m., there will be a screening of the documentary film Kuciak: The Killing of a Journalist at Hollar in room no. 215 (with English subtitles). The award-winning documentary deals in detail not only with the murder of Ján Kuciak and Martina Kušnírová, but also with the consequences of this dramatic event, which caused the biggest protests in Slovakia since the fall of communism.

  • Call for inter-university and inter-faculty agreements for SS 24/25 is open

    The call for application to study stays through inter-university and inter-faculty agreements is open for the Summer semester 2024/25. The call is open from 5 to 30 April 2023.

  • Study in Austria with CEEPUS

    The Institute of Economic Studies announces the call for applications for study stays at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland in Fall 2023/2024. The call is open to all FSV UK students. The deadline is April 12, 2023.

  • Online information meeting for SYLFF scholarship applications

    An online information meeting will be held on April 6 at 4:00 p.m. via MS Teams for those interested in the SYLFF scholarship. The information meeting is organized for potential scholarship applicants and will be held in English. The meeting will provide detailed information about the program, including its goals, rules and application procedures.

  • prg.ai Minor programme for AI enthusiasts

    prg.ai launches another run of a unique inter-university programme prg.ai Minor which provides technically proficient students with a deeper insight into the field of artificial intelligence. Applications are open until March 21, 2023.
