Call for Special Issues: Journal of Nationalism, Memory & Language Politics

Our Institute of Political Studies invites authors to submit proposals for special issues in the following sections:

• Trends in nationalist development, historical and contemporary
• Policies regarding national and international institutions of memory
• Investigations into the creation and/or dissemination of cultural memory
• The implementation and political repercussions of language policies in various contexts
• The formation, cohesion and perseverance of national or regional identity
• The relationships between minority and majority populations
• The role of ethnicity in nationalism and national identity
• The contribution of victimhood to national or regional self-perception

Those interested in proposing a special issue for 2025 or 2026 should submit a one-page proposal by May 30, 2025, to ales.michal@fsv.cuni.cz.
