Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Call for period 04/2026-11/2026
The Erasmus+ employee mobility program selection procedure for period 04/2026-11/2026 was announced. Applications can be submitted from 1. 1. 2026 from 6 am to 31. 1. 2026 until 3:00 pm via the IS Věda application in the PAS module. The results of this selection procedure will be announced by the end of February 2026. -
Student evaluation of teaching in WS 2025/2026
We ask students to fill in the teaching evaluation for the winter semester 2025/2026. The questionnaire is available at the web address https://hodnoceni.fsv.cuni.cz/ after logging in via CAS. The evaluation questionnaire is available until 15 February 2026. -
Science at FSV UK: Researcher Kateřina Turková on athletes on social media, disinformation regulation, and AI ethics
Sport plays a significant role in the life and research of Dr Kateřina Turková from the Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism FSV UK. During her active sports career, however, she knew she did not want to remain only on the track. She was always drawn to a broader perspective—understanding how sport functions in the media, institutions, and society as a whole. Read about her research. -
Erasmus+ pre-application presentation
The pre-application presentation in English for outgoing students will take place on February 2, 2026 from 1:00 pm in the Jinonice Campus, room C117. You will learn practical information about the Erasmus+ selection process and students who have already been on the trip will share their experiences. There will also be time for Q&A about administration and other things that interest you. -

The Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, has two new professors
On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in the Great Hall of Carolinum, President Petr Pavel presented the appointment decrees to the professors he appoints on the proposal of the scientific and artistic councils of universities. Of the 69 appointed, 23 were new professors from Charles University. On behalf of FSV UK, the appointment decree was received by Prof. Jozef Baruník from the Institute of Economic Studies and Prof. Rudolf Kučera from the Institute of International Studies.
