Acces to Hollar Student Zone restricted from 4 September to 2 October 2026
From 4 September to 2 October 2026, the access to Hollar Student Zone will be restricted. The back room will be completely inaccessible during this period. The front rooms will be used for student registration at certain times, so there will be increased movement and noise. Thank you for your understanding. -
FSV UK project succeeds in the Primus competition, bringing German economist to the faculty
The successful applicant is German economist Jakob Miethe, currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU). Thanks to the Primus grant, he will join the Institute of Economic Studies (IES) at FSV UK, where he will lead the project International Ownership Structures. Many congratulations! -
Czech Government Scholarship - Developing Countries for the AY 2027/28
Applicants from developing countries may apply for a Czech Government Scholarship - Developing Countries that fully covers tuition fees of selected Master’s study programs and provides subsidies for health insurance and living expenses in Czechia. For studies beginning in the academic year 2027/2028, the application deadline is September 30, 2026. -

The recent tragic events at the Christopher Street Day march in Berlin remind us that prejudice and hatred towards LGBTQ+ people are not a thing of the past in society.
