Wellbeing Day on 11 March in Jinonice Campus
On 11 March 2024 from 9 to ca 11-12 am in the foyer of Building B of the Jinonice Campus, you can meet again dogs from the canistherapeutic society Šimíček. There will be also delicious breakfast for you prepared by FSV UK student clubs. All our students and employees are welcome! The event is organized by the FSV UK Wellbeing Working Group.

STEP: Competition in student English presentations
The FSV UK Language Centre organizes a competition in student English presentations, STEP. It is an academic event for students of all institutes who want to compete in English presentation skills and promote their field of study. The presentations will take place on 17 April 2024 from 5 to 8:30 pm in Jinonice Campus, Hall C 117. Deadline for applications is Monday, 18 March, 12 a.m.

Transition of printing services at FSV UK from Uniflow to MyQ
This week, the printing services will be transitioning to a new solution MyQ, which will replace the existing Uniflow system in all FSV UK library branches. The Uniflow system will be terminated on February 28th, 2024, at noon. MyQ will be launched on March 1st, 2024. The credit from Uniflow can be transfered to MyQ until June 30th, 2024.

Opening of night study rooms in Jinonice Campus
With the beginning of the summer semester, night study rooms were opened in the Jinonice campus. You can find them on the first floor of the library in the rooms A125 and A126. Night study rooms are open from Monday to Thursday from 7:00 to 10:00 pm and on Friday from 5:00 to 10:00 pm.

Call for applications for CENTRAL Workshops in 2024
The call for applications for CENTRAL Workshops in 2024 is open. CENTRAL-Workshop projects will fund one or two, 2-3 day meetings at one of the involved CENTRAL partner universities (or two, if two meetings will be held) in the period between 1 September 2024 – 30 April 2025. The deadline for applications is 16 April 2024.

The second anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine: How should the Czech Republic effectively support Ukraine now?
On February 24, 2024, two years will pass since Russian troops entered the territory of Ukraine. On this occasion, academics from the Expert Group for Ukraine (ESU) present their view of what the Czech Republic should do in the coming months to effectively help Ukraine.
