Elections of a candidate for the post of the Dean 2025
The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University announced the election of a candidate for the office of Dean. The election will take place at the meeting of the AS FSV UK on 7 October 2025. From 21 August 2025 to 21 September 2025, any member of the academic community of FSV UK may submit a nomination proposal. -

3rd Paedagogium Platform Conference: Motivation Works Better Together

The conference will take place on December 5, 2025 from 9 am to 5 pm at Charles University Karolinum, and will be held as a hybrid event – with the option to participate on-site or online. Economist Jozef Baruník from IES FSV UK served as a reviewer for prestigious ERC Grants
The European Research Council (ERC) grants are among the most prestigious in Europe. The peer review panels that select the most successful applicants each year include only top scientists from around the world. In 2024, Associate Professor Jozef Baruník from the Institute of Economic Studies became a member of the ERC Consolidator Grant review panel.
