Before departure, students are required to ensure the following:

1. Get sufficient health insurance valid in the country of the study stay.
2. If you are a Czech citizen, register in the DROZD system (Voluntary Registration of Czech Citizens Traveling Abroad).
3. Provide the university with valid contact information (including the contact to a relative/emergency contact person), which is functional abroad, and affidavit.

After departure, students may contact Charles University via email at pomoc@cuni.cz if they require assistance.

In the event of any urgent crisis, it is absolutely necessary to contact the Czech diplomatic mission in the given country. Contact information, including emergency hotlines for individual Czech embassies.
