  • Information for students enrolled in courses at the Faculty of Arts

    If you are fulfilling your study obligations at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, follow the information on the examination period directly on the FA UK website. The examination period at FSV UK takes place according to the Academic Calendar. Use student and employee cards to enter the Hollar building and the Jinonice Campus.

  • Cancellation of teaching and restricted operation at FSV UK on 22 December 2023

    Due to the tragic events at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, on Friday 22 December 2023, all classes at FSV UK will be canceled and the operation of the faculty will be restricted. We therefore recommend to all FSV UK students and employees that they do not visit the faculty buildings on 22 December.

  • Building A of the Jinonice Campus opens on 13 December 2023

    We would like to inform you with pleasure that this Wednesday, December 13, we are opening building A in the Jinonice Campus, i.e. the extension, which is also the entrance to the entire faculty complex. The most important part of building A is the new faculty library. It will offer more than 40,000 volumes, individual and team study rooms, a night study room or a relaxation zone.

  • Change of opening hours of Hollar Library on 24 November

    On Friday, 24 November 2023, the Hollar Library will be open only until 1:00 p.m. for operational reasons. 

  • Statement by Tomáš Karásek, the FSV UK Dean, on the anniversary of November 17

    "I wish us all to keep the hope that things can get better. A hope that will give us the courage to take the right steps without a guarantee that they will be successful. We owe nothing less to those who contributed to the free development of our country in 1989."

  • Coimbra Group looking for an intern in Brussels

    The association of European universities Coimbra Group is looking for an intern for its office in Brussels. The internship is from January 2024 to the end of June 2024. The job will include administrative support for the team and coordination of activities related to international cooperation. Internship is for students and recent graduates of master programs.
