  • Two FSV UK students received prestigious awards from the Rector of Charles University

    On March 31, 2025, the Rector of Charles University presented prestigious awards in the Karolinum Patriotic Hall, with two of them going to FSV UK students. Tadeáš Řáha, a student of the Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism, received the Rector's Extraordinary Award 2024. Dana Alsaialy, a graduate of the Institute of Sociological Studies, was honored with the Karel Engliš Prize.
  • Online courses from Heidelberg University

    The 4EU+ Shared Courses offer of Heidelberg University for the upcoming summer semester 2025 is now available on the 4EU+ Student Portal. The registration deadline for all courses is 31 March 2025.
  • Wellbeing Day on 13 March 2025 in the Jinonice Campus

    In the morning of 13 March 2025, you can once again meet therapy dogs and enjoy a tasty breakfast prepared by student clubs in the foyer of building C in the Jinonice Campus. All our students and staff are warmly welcome! The event is organized by the Well-being Working Group of the FSV UK.
  • The first phase of the Hollar building renovation and modernization is complete. We are opening the new Hollar Student Zone

    After extensive reconstruction and modernization of the former library at Hollar, the Hollar Student Zone is now open to students, offering expanded facilities for study and relaxation. We cordially invite you to its opening, which will take place on Wednesday, 5 March 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the presence of the FSV UK Dean, Tomáš Karásek, and the Director of the Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism, Jakub Končelík.
  • FSV UK Career Day for International Students and Alumni

    Are you our international student or recent graduate? Join us for FSV UK Career Day on 9 April 2025 in Jinonice Campus! You can look forward to a CV workshop, a Czech labour law lecture, 3 companies recruiting, career counseling or a photographer who can take a professional photo for your CV. Some parts of the program require registration.
  • The inter-university program prg.ai Minor

    The inter-university program prg.ai Minor is designed for students of full-time bachelor's and master's studies at Czech Technical University and Charles University who are interested in artificial intelligence and machine learning. prg.ai Minor combines the best of the courses from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Information Technology of CTU, and the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics and the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University. Applications are open until March 21, 2025.
