ARRIVAL TO CZECHIA

Effective from 14 April 2022, there are no restrictions on traveling to Czechia. It is not obligatory to prove your infection-free status and the ban on the entrance of third-country nationals was cancelled.

Before your travels, please check the Ministry of Interior website to make sure the rules have not changed. If you have doubts, please, do not hesitate to contact us at degreeprograms@fsv.cuni.cz, or at exchange@fsv.cuni.cz for exchange students.

MEASURES IN CZECHIA

As of 14 April 2022, the general obligation to wear nose and mouth protection (respirator or mask) no longer applies. However, it is still obligatory to cover nose and mouth with a respirator or other protective device (class FFP2 / KN 95) in:

  • Health and social service premises (hospitals, doctor’s offices, homes for the disabled, homes for the elderly and homes with special regimes)

It is recommended but not obligatory to cover nose and mouth with a respirator in public transport.

Please follow the general hygienic measures recommended by the state administration.

  • Wear face masks according to the current governmental measures
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick or have symptoms of COVID-19
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water
  • Use hand sanitizer as a disinfectant as much as possible
  • Avoid crowded areas
  • Keep social distancing where possible

If you were in the risky contact with a Covid-19 positive person:

Please go into voluntary quarantine. If you were infected this will prevent further transmissions of the disease. Inform your GP about the risky contact by phone. He will issue you a request form for an RT-PCR test on COVID-19.

If you tested positive for Covid-19:

You need to follow isolation for 7 days from the positive test. You can end your isolation after 7 days from the sampling of the first positive test performed by a healthcare professional if in the last 2 days no symptoms occurred; otherwise, the isolation prolongs for the whole time of having symptoms plus 2 days without them. Isolation cannot be terminated by undertaking a PCR test, its minimum length is 7 days.

Here you can find all testing points in Prague.
