FSV UK offers some of the highest quality English language Bachelor's, Master's and PhD degree programs in Central and Eastern Europe in all fields of social sciences, giving students an opportunity to obtain their degree from one of the oldest, largest and most prestigious universities in the world.

Research

FSV UK fully supports the socio-scientific research. The Faculty integrates and co-ordinates the research plan it has acquired with several departments of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. Within this framework, FSV UK has made a commitment to provide the professional public with a critical and scientifically-based reflection on the development of Czech society from a long-term perspective.

Life at Faculty

Student life is not only studying at a library or your dorm and attending lectures and seminars! There is a whole bunch of stuff students do together in their free time - social, cultural, political or sport events, trips, parties...and much more! There is nothing easier than just join and enjoy the life at FSV UK!

Important information for the students
Number of available slots per semester: 2 (February - June, August - December)

Credit conversion: 1 ECTS = 4 CIDE credits / 1 CIDE credit = 0.25 ECTS
Language requirements: Spanish B2 (Certificate from a language school, language level can be also verified upon request by our Language Centre FSV UK).
The University also requires a motivational letter in Spanish (thus, student sends two motivational letters - one in English for Charles University and one in Spanish for CIDE)
Students accepted under the agreement do not pay tuition fees. Other costs, such as accommodation, food, travel, and health insurance are paid by the students themselves. Selected students may apply for a contribution from the Mobility Fund.
Although the school does not have any dormitories, they help with the accommodation search.
