CENTRE FOR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC STRATEGIES (CESES)
The Centre, which was founded in 2000, is an interdisciplinary research and education unit engaged in the development of theory, methodology and practice of exploring possible future developments, and the application of analyses and forecasts in decision making.
The Language Centre secures courses of English, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Italian for all the institutes within the faculty. The courses are designed to provide students with crucial vocabulary specific to the study fields offered at the faculty and aim to prepare students better for their future careers. In addition, the Centre provides courses of Czech as a Foreign Language.
LIBRARY (SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION CENTRE)
FSV UK has three libraries which are found in the three buildings:
- The Central Library is found in the Hollar building together with a section on Journalism
- The Library Opletalova in the Opletalova building houses Economics collection
- The Masaryk Library of Social Sciences in the Jinonice building houses the Political Science, Sociology and Area Studies collections
CENTRE FOR INFORMATION AND COMPUTING TECHNOLOGY (CICT)
The centre ensures the development and the functioning of information technology in the three Faculty buildings: Hollar, Opletalova and Jinonice campus.
Centre for Knowledge and Technology Transfer UK opens one-semester long elective course Management of Science and Innovation. You can enroll via SIS from 1st February 2018.
The International Office FSV UK announces an additional call for semester-long stays and summer schools in the academic year 2018/2019. Deadline for applications is 2nd February 2018.
The Centre for Information, Counselling and Social Services offers an opportunity for both Czech and international students to participate in an open group that will meet once a week during the spring and fall semester.
