The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, announces a selection procedure to fill the position of Assistant Professor for the Department of Political Science at the Institute of Political Studies.

Job description:
•    Communication with English-speaking students
•    Management of the agenda of foreign-language programs
•    Supervision of students and assessment of their academic work
•    Participation in examination boards
•    Independent research and grant activity
•    Lecturing and leading seminars

Requirements:
•    University degree in political science or related fields (Ph.D. degree preferred)
•    Experience in teaching and research activities
•    Organizational and communication skills
•    Specialization in political sociology (especially social transformation and artificial intelligence)
•    Excellent command of spoken and written English
•    Communicative knowledge of the Czech language
